|   | TOP |   | Many Digital Designs are now easily implemented on a single chip in the form of a PAL (Programmable Array Logic device), a CPLD (Complex Programable Logic Device), or an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). Also, many slower digital designs can be built by microcontrollers or even simple relay logic. Altera FPGA and CPLD technologies and design tools (Quartus) as well as Verilog HDL coding are the most frequently considered "design platforms" for TaborCo Projects. For higher speeds, TaborCo can develop discrete logic using 2GHz ECL logic products by ON Semiconductor, with attention to the rules of high speed layout and transmission line theory. However, the key is to always deliver the best technology to suite the customer, also considering the future support of the technology. If the application is better served by microcontrollers, TaborCo is already set up to develop designs on Motorola 6805 series (now as Freescale Semiconductor products) and MicroChip's PIC series products.
